Healthy Routine - EISP Empathia

Healthy Routine

Simple, science-backed tips to help you thrive in school, health, and life.

Sleep Well

Aim for 8-9 hours. Create a bedtime routine, avoid screens 1 hour before sleep, and keep your room cool and dark.

Study Smart

Use the Pomodoro technique: 25 min focus + 5 min break. Break big tasks into smaller chunks. Quality over quantity.

Eat Balanced

Fuel your brain with whole foods, fruits, vegetables, and water. Don't skip breakfast. Limit sugar and caffeine.

Move Daily

20-30 minutes of movement reduces stress and boosts mood. Walk, dance, stretch, play sports—whatever you enjoy!

Make Time for You

Schedule downtime for hobbies, friends, and activities you love. Balance is key. Rest is productive.

Morning Checklist

  • Wake up at a consistent time
  • Drink a glass of water
  • Eat a healthy breakfast
  • 5-minute stretch or movement
  • Set 3 intentions for the day

Study Breaks = Self-Care

  • Take a 5-10 min break every hour
  • Stand up and stretch your body
  • Hydrate with water or tea
  • Get fresh air or look outside
  • Listen to a favorite song
